And guess what, Chris Matthews doesn't want you to have your hunting rifle either. Do you realize a good quality hunting rifle is more accurate than most military grade rifles? I would choose a nice Marlin over an AK if range and accuracy were the top priorities. You basically have a sniper rifle if you have a hunting rifle.
Get your head on straight, these people want your gun, if you're a democrat or not. And you seem to think hunting is all you need a rifle for. Like I said about the LA riots, those store owners NEEDED their guns. Watch the videos of the riots as Korean store owners are outside keeping their OWN security because the police just WASN'T THERE! THe police don't have an obligation to defend individuals. THe supreme court rules a long time ago that the police is there to protect the public AT LARGE! THat means if their's a riot going on and you're being robbed and murdered, the police has no obligation to help you, they have to help society get under control. Think this is in the past? Try Katrina, people needed their guns for defense. And if you're on the move, I'd like to see you lug around your rifle for defense. I'd like to see you reassemble it in a few seconds to stop a person who wants to do you harm.

I live in the REAL WORLD. Having a gun on my hip won't hurt anyone unless I am being attacked. THere is nothing UN-Christian about guns, or self defense. I do a dangerous job, and I need to defend myself. Would you be this against my having a gun if I were Christian and a cop? How am I any different? I have a dangerous job in a dangerous city and I have the right and the OBLIGATION to defend myself and my family. You say it's bad to defend yourself with "bullets" would it be OK to carry a knife? You have a really retarded sense of what's Christian and not Christian, and have a retarded sense of self defense.

Well, this is an interesting argument......NOT.
Sir, you have the right to bear arms, for better or for worse. You live in America. I think you've made your choices and are reaping the benefits of living in a free country. However, if you want to preach God and bullets, than I think you better be prepared for the reaction. Simply put, most people don't agree with you. Certainly young people have more hope for the future than the picture you present. You have chosen to live your life in this manner, now let it be. Go do your defending of whatever it is you think is threatened. In the meantime, I am going to live my life in the real world as well. The real world of band concerts, music, Babe Ruth baseball, schoolkids, tight budgets and bills to pay. And truly, if I saw you in a parking with your side arm, professing to be protecting us, than I would have to say that you would frighten me.

I never claimed to be protecting you. I am protecting me and mine only. If it came down to it and I COULD help you, I probably would, but I don't carry a gun to be superman, or an independant cop.
