here! TV and Regent Media have issued an official press release concerning Dante's Cove, dispelling rumors that the show has been cancelled or abandoned by the network. This is great news ! It should be noted thought that the new shows are only 30 mins instead of an hour as with previous seasons, I hope that this doesnt effect things too much !

Amen, I just got into the series over Xmas break and totaly hooked. 30 min or 1 hr episodes is fine by me as long as there are episodes. I jsut wish they would give us some hint as to waht season 4 will be like, their page doesnt give us even a hint. But i will wait impatiently for it to come out...lol

I mean, it was three years,
no one is bound by contract,
Gregory Michael is filming Greek,
Charlie David is working on Judas Kiss,
Thea Gill has a few projects in line...
When will they work on this?
And project started (or so says Here!)
in fall of the 2009.

Well, they wouldn't announce a S4 if it was never gonna happen. It took 12 days to film S3 of The Lair so maybe the actors can get it together sometime in the near future. GM only has one other show to film ATM, so I'm sure he can fit in one other show. It's all down to scheduling all the actors.

They just don't want to tell anyone that there will be no season 4 because they're trying to squeeze every dime they can out of the three seasons they already have. If people think there will be a season 4, they'll keep checking the website, thus, find something else they like...
shareI read an interview with Charlie David and he was asked about "Dante's Cove" and if there was going to be a season 4. He said he hadn't heard anything about it for over a year and was positive the series was over.
shareOn the heretv! website atm, they are doing poll questions about what people want to see in DC S4 so something seems to be brewing. They filmed S3 of The Lair in 12 days and it was all last-minute according to the cast. Could be the same for the DC cast.

As for "Dante's" maybe they're making it without Charlie David. That's why he doesn't know about it. "The Lair" has had extensive cast cahnges in its first few seasons.
I couldn't imagine why they would want to exclude Charlie David. I think they would want to get as many of the same actors as possible, especially for the main characters. Unless they want to make some different version of Dante's Cove with all new characters/actors. I guess they could have everyone else killed off by The Shadows, or a hurricane.

I've also heard that the new season allegedly begins this winter... Who knows?
