its called not knowing when to walk out like a lady. ashlee is going to keep pretending she can sing in hopes that enough people can be tricked into buying her cds. watch and see that people are not as dumb as ashlee thinks they are. her new cd will go no where like ashlee.

i would never try to tell you what to do. i am just saying ashlee is counting on people like you who will buy her cds and set her up on top.she is clearly trying to make it big and will do anything to get there. she should stop singing at once and look in other places to find something she is good at.

it looks like the whole family will be on tv, i think tomorrow. this is one messed up family. i guess daddy wants to keep making money off his girls so he is up to his old tricks again. how much you wanna bet daddy will do his best to throw ashlee in our faces and tell us all how happy jessica and nick are, garbage.

she outsold her sister! i dont think shes walking out anytime, because she knows she has fans like me who are loyal to her, and stick by her side no matter what and she already went somewhere...to the top. i dont think shes gonna be quiting anytime soon. and if you hate her so much then why come to a place like this?

hey that is great you are a fan and will back her no matter what, however most of her fans saw her fake a little to much. its not up to her to walk out or not the fans decided that for her. i think she dose not have any talent and it was all a game she played on her fans. movie stars and singers need people like you in thier corner because you will believe anything and lay your money down. its up to you and all of us if we want ashlee to make fools of us then follow blindly, however i will not follow her anywhere. she dose not really have that many fans left.

oh for fecks sake! when will you learn? SHE DIDNT OUTSELL HER SISTER! she hasnt even nearly outsold her sister.
Hence why In this Skin was the 14th biggest selling album of the year and Autobiography was the 18th. and thats not even including the rest of jessicas sales which add on around about 6 million!

However i do love Ashlee! N i LOVE Boyfriend n L.O.V.E i will definately buy her new album!

well dymbarse in the skin was relsed in august 2003 ten month b4 ashlee album then because her album floped it was re relsed in march 2004 3 months b4 ashleen that means more times 2 sell album.ASHLEE 2 #1 ALBUMS JESSICA 0

By the way, just because she has a new CD out does not mean her career isn't over it just means she is still trying to salvage the career that she should have never had in the first place....

Well, her CD has been out for a little while now, and it did hit #1... for 2 minutes and now it's not even on the charts. How about that?
And now I hear rumors that she's going to put out a greatest hits cd? give me a break? What hits has she had that could fill another cd?

Oh My God. What the hell is wrong with the world??!!! Why on Earth are people so easily brainwashed. Man alive. America has become such an embarrassement. If she has a best of album, then my fav band, Third Eye Blind better have one too. They've had 11 singles, all amazing songs. And unlike Ashlee, they wrote, played and created ALL of it themselves. And they didn't pop a *beep* cd out of there ass every 6 months. I am so tired of pieces of *beep* like her taking away attention from good musicians.

A greatest hits album? Really now? Heh. She shall include her SNL downfall in it, the video I mean and who's really the one to blame! (IT'S HER! HAHAHAHA!)

But nonetheless, Ashlee's songs are good. She could easily be put in such categories as Michelle Branch (although Branch is more creative and more... artistic) and Avril and those peeps. Even if she lipsynches them (hah! SHAME!) I [hope] think that what she wrote [her songs] is pretty much heartfelt and... true.

She's a musicsian (sp?) [as of this moment] and she makes good music (okay fine, almost good music--just stop with the lipsynching, ain't cool) and that's why I still listen to her.

Though, her 'I didn't Steal your Boyfriend' is pure sh!t. I think the reason why we listen to musicsians (artists) is becuase we like their music. Not because they're 'omagosh punk!' etc. but because we simply like listening to their music. I think this applies to many cases.

I'm sorry if I go off topic much. But please continue.

No offense.. but NO!

They are formulaic pop-fluff... there is nothing really interesting, unique, well done or anything else that comes out of her CDs.

As I have stated in several threads here.. young women are peer pressured into liking whatever their 'friends' like, even though they may actually hate it. What this means is if clueless bozo #1 who is one of the 'popular' girls says she 'likes it' then all of the other lemmings (erm, I mean teenage ladies) go out and buy it. Why? Mostly for fear of not knowing the lyrics to whatever stupid annoying song happens to be bozo #1's favorite when there's a party.

Teenyboppers are afraid to speak up for themselves... they're afraid of getting kicked out of their clique. So regardless of whether they are aware of it or not, they tolerate and eventually 'like' the 'music' for social connections more than any other single reason.

If these same women were locked in a room with some _actual_ music for a month, none would ever go back to teenypop again. For those young ladies out there reading this wondering what that means: music that targets the teenage crowd is NOT music.. it's advertizing jingles concealed in gift wrapping paper.

Try checking out some classical, or rock, or jazz, or blues, or reggae, or just about anything other than this 'music'. Real music is written by the musicians... or at least by another musician.

'Music' that was specifically written for somebody who did not rise to fame based on their musical talent but on an untalented but rather attractive sibling ; and who is now trying to milk their 15 seconds of fame... is NOT music. It is understood by ALL of the world except for naieve teenagers that this is crap. These same teenagers simply have not been exposed to enough other musical influences yet to know better... but eventually they will learn and most will even laugh at themselves.
