and not worth it. bad direction, bad storytelling, bad in general. i went with high hopes but this one just didn't cut it for me. the only redeeming factor is konkana who does the best with what she is given. give it a miss and watch black friday instead (if you want to catch a desi flick) or mr and mrs iyer if you wanna catch a konkana flick.

Your review is nonsense! There are some weak areas in the film, but overall it's interesting, and revealing of those events. It's very commendable how Indians, who have long excelled as some of the best writers in the English language, are now excelling in filmmaking in English. As pleasant and appealling as typical Bollywood productions can be, there are becoming more productions of a serious note from India that increasingly measure up to some of Hollywood's and Europe's filmmaking standards; and in some cases overtaking and surpassing the schlock from Hollywood.

I am NOT an idiot and I thought this movie was terrible as well. Bad acting, unbelievable dialogue, scattered direction. I would rather have watched a good documentary on the genocide.
