What a wonderful shortfilm. I can't really express in words how much I love your work, Chris!

Very inspiring, I hope we'll see more Landreth Films in the future - totally deserved the Oscar, I'm really glad that 'Ryan' got so much attention.

Kudos to Chris and his team for not playing it safe and delivering this wonderful piece of art!

I agree. I just saw this on the Sundance Channel, and the only thing that came to mind was the word "beautiful."

Am I the only one who thought that the animation was trite? Honest to god it looked like a bad video game with overly obvious allusions to the self under erasure. And Chris, what an *beep* What a way to honor those you admire...exploit them, make a buck off of them, and say goodbye when they die. Damn I hated this flick.

You're the only one that I know of. The usual reaction is to admire the beauty of the animation and to appreciate the symbolism of the images.

Do you have an outstanding grudge against the filmmakers? I cant honestly see anyone coming to those conclusions without some pre-existing notion of their integrity...
