Did it remind anyone of American Beauty?

Revenge of the Middle-Aged Woman made me think of American Beauty in a way. Especially the part where she gets offered her old job again and she starts dancing and tells her boss to piss off. Could have easily fitted into AB. Not a bad thing though, I loved AB and it made me appreciate this film in a similar way.
