Hassan was very careless

I found it a bit hard to believe that Hassan would be so careless to start making explosives in their own basement. He knows the importance of keeping secret and low profile (ie the secret hideout his cell had). You would think that he woulda found somewhere else to make the stuff, or gone to a motel room like his buddy.
