Hysterical AND surprisingly touching...
Of course, this show is one of the funniest I've ever seen. But I was quite taken with how Titus seems to have come through a childhood of serious problems and turned it around.
Actually, that's why I think I laughed so hard. Not that my childhood was quite as messed up as his, but for anyone who had to deal with a father figure who could be both the best and worst of people (and there's a helluva lot of us these days) this was really a cathartic comedy that reminds you that as much pain as you might have gone through...you can still look back and laugh your ass off at it.
BTW--does anyone know what Christopher is doing now? Is he still doing stand up or anything?
