Does anyone else think his acting is really bad? Most of the time he shows a face of ... actually he dosn't have any emotion in his face. He slowly winks and smiles "sweet" in kissing scenes, but otherwise he's just so unconvincing :o( the main four characters are way better. I'm in the middle of the frist season so there's still hope he will evolve...
I agree. His acting isn't all that good. He always has that devious look in his eye, he hardly ever smiles, and he always seems to have a temper. The other four actors are way better, especially my man, Alex. That guy cracks me up. He's my favorite character on the show.
It seemed like he was acting how his character was written. I read someplace that's he's the new hot mystery man on Dante's Cove. Can't wait to see that.
OK, I'm not saying this to get flamed nor am I *trying* to be inflammatory, but I just have to say - I couldn't wait to catch this show. My cable company (in a small town in PA) doesn't offer Logo, but I did catch 2 or 3 episodes while away on business and staying with a friend who has satellite.
I was so disappointed with what I saw! I think the acting overall is sub-par, and the whole thing just seems kind of amateurish. Do I just need to watch it and follow the story lines better? Or is it simply a 'great first attempt at a gay drama on a gay station'?
BTW, I am a gay woman who loved QAF (mostly) and sometimes loves the L-Word (I feel the same way about that show 50% of the time!!!).
Again - no offense to anyone. Just wondering if I need to give it more of a chance?
I couldn't agree with you more - You said it just right! I'm also a gay woman - big fan of QAF and of the first and most recent season of the L-Word. Thought Noah's Arc might be in the same vein, especially when it's been compared to Sex and the City (Please folks it's "Sex AND the City" not "Sex IN the City") but the acting is so bad I just couldn't get beyond it. Oh well... Next!
