Is this film getting an international release?

And what about the rating? Why is it so low? It deserves more than that.
The same goes for the marketing and attention. This is a standup-thriller. Too bad...

I just saw it today on NL3 (dutch public television) only a couple of months after its release which is great 'cause I missed it in theatres. I really wanted to see this one because for a movie the plot seems rather far-fetched but the guy actually went to the wrong building. When I heard they we're gonna make a film about it I was a little sceptical because dutch films (when not character based literary adaptations) are usually rather bad and I was expecting this movie was gonna be just another trying-to-make-a-hip-film-with-international-allure *beep* (think: Soul Assassin). But, it turned out rather good actually. The two stars are fine actors (especially Jan Decleir) and the film has a wonderful downtempo, almost melancholic "feel". I felt the director could've made some more use of the location though, because the two towers near the Amsterdam Amstel railway station (some of the highest and most modern (office-)buildings in Amsterdam) must have some more cinematographic value than shown in the film. But hey, maybe that wasn't the point of the director and, come to think of it, some pretentious artistic directing would only take the viewers attention off the humanity of the story.
So, indeed a nice little film. Check it out if you have the chance.

I very much enjoyed this film. The tempo and acting were top notch. I simply don't see how anyone will not be entertained by this. Jan Decleir and Jeroen Crabbé are two very charismatic actors and the chemistry between them was to die for. I think I will buy the DVD.

Spoiler:
The only scene I had a problem with is when Decleir finds out what secret technology Philips has up its sleeve. They never should've showed anything. Some things are better left a mystery, just to keep our imagination alive.

I was hoping to catch this movie in Philly, but I missed the entire festival there...

Guess I'll catch it next time in Holland.
