ammorrison-1 - I fully agree with you! I am very dissapointed that Kimberly won't play Marnie... now the movie won't be the same! Those people must think we are stupid if they thought we wouldn't notice the difference!

the only reason sara paxton is marnie is because its a new generation, this marnie is named after her grandma [marnie from the original movies] and in this movie, the new marnie [sara paxton] goes back in time to "uncover her family's dark past" so that she can save Halloween Town from the sinister sisters.

[i kno this because my dad works on return to ha;lloweentown, so i have good sources]

hope this info was helpful

It's not a new generation - the same Marnie goes to Witch University with her brother and also on the ads it had Ethan so yeah it's the same people.

reply

In response to what other people said about not noticing the actor change...Perhaps Kimberly didn't want to continue acting anyways. Don't assume they think we're "retarded" We wont know the real reason why, but If they make another sequel after 4, and KJB is Marnie again, then that'll explain everything. But It could be that KJB i getting tired of acting in the Halloweent time movies and simply wants to try something new.

There's a sequel?

its cause kinberly j. brown had another moview job when they wanted to do halloweentown 4! but its still the BEST movie yet!!!!!!!!!!!!

reply

^ NO, it's not.

This time, Effie White's gonna win.

Whitney was wrong. Children are no longer the future.

reply

I heard Kimberley J Brown wanted the role but they decided to give it to Sara Paxton.

Not really sure what happened, but I certainly missed Kim's Marnie. Sara did a fine job, but she felt like a different character.
