'Everything Goes' vs 'Everything Must Go'

Some interesting reading -- http://www.combustiblecelluloid.com/2011/everymust.shtml

I think the reviewer is being to generous too Everything Must Go, which, in its facile expansions and addition of sitcom elements absent from Carver's short story, misses its main point. (It's not a story about a man's quirky midlife crisis, but about the inevitability of loss for everyone.) Andrew Kotatko's short film is much better, and truer to the original. Also, the similarity in titles is very suspicious, as Carver's story was entitled "Why Don't You Dance?"
