I saw that as well. Surely it must be wrong. It doesn't seem like the actual film would need that much money even.
shareThat must be for the whole film. As reviewed here the Pilot wouldn't have a separate budget. In today's currency the 10 mil comes to just shy of 1.5 million U$D and with a cast including names like Nicole Kidman, Lauren Bacall, Paul Bettany, James Caan, Ben Gazzara, & John Hurt you could probably burn through that quickly, even with a set as minimal as Dogville's.
