Julia roberts voice

Was really sexy in this movie.

I agree, it was really boring.

We got no FOOD! We got no JOBS! Our pets' HEADS ARE FALLIN' OFF!

reply

I don't think that is what the poster ment.

she was gr8

It was weird, but I thought that the spider in this film sounded exactly like that woman in the 1980's movie with Richard Gere about him being a rich guy who picks up a prostitute in L.A. on Hollywood Blvd.

reply

She was adequate but Debbie Reynolds was brilliant.

I seriously doubt if Richard Gere's character in "Pretty Woman" would have taken a spider to the opera, even a spider that has the voice of Julia Roberts.

reply

Her voice was/is sexy, especially in this movie.

I like waking up in the morning not knowing who I'll meet or where I'll end up: The Titanic

reply

Really? Debbie Reynold's had a GORGEOUS voice, I couldn't stand Julia's after seeing the first movie.

reply

I didn't like her in this. It really sounded like she was reading straight off the script page with no character, life, or enthusiasm in her voice. Just Humm drumm Julia. >Yawn <

reply

I agree. Her performance felt phoned-in.

reply

I agree, but in anything she does if you close your eyes and just listen she is like the voice that is needed for an instructional guide tape.

To get thru it just decide that this is how spiders talk, at least that species!

Ephemeron.

They were both good actresses and there are films where they both played witches. Debbie Reynolds who played Charlotte in the 1973 version played Agatha Cromwell, the good witch in the Halloweentown movie series which started 25 years after that and Julia Roberts who played Charlotte in this version played Queen Clementianna, the wicked witch in Mirror Mirror 6 years after that.

reply

She was very miscast in this role. Bring back Debbie Reynolds.

reply

I thought she was really good and the perfect voice of Charlotte.
