Why does the cast only have 5 people?

On the IMDB site for 'The Days' the 5 family members are listed and Maria Romorez. Why does she have such noteriety? What about Natalie's boyfriend, the school counselor, any of the people at Jack or Abby's works, or the people fixing the car including Maria's bro. Also, the soccer team, including Emma aka Courtnee Draper. Why have all these people not been included?
