I didn't like it.

Now before you bash me for being a racist, hear me out.

I'm a huge fan of Clark's. I loved Kids, Bully and Ken Park This one just had a different feel in it that I didn't get.

I thought some parts were good though. The whole scene with cop was pretty funny. Maybe he's just trying to go in another direction. I haven't seen his clip of Destricted yet, so I don't know.

Also, other fans of Clark's movies should check out his photography book, Tulsa. Amazing stuff.

I thought it was awful and I consider myself a massive fan of Clark's.

I have always found that his films had really meaningful things to say about sex, teenage and young adult life, families, racism, sexism, and taboos.

I felt this film had nothing to say at all, and if it did, it seriously lost its point, and doesn't even attempt to say what the point is.

The kids aren't even sad in the morning after their friend is killed. The last picture is of one of the guys smiling as if to say "what a crazy day and night, but I had fun". I mean, what the hell?

I was very disappointed. Clarke should have expanded on the race issues or even the sexuality issues. Long periods of the boys skating with loud music was just precious time wasted in the film.
