ALL THE REVIEWS AND RATINGS ARE FROM THE PRODUCERS

Saw this movie and believe me folks, it´s the biggest crap ever made. Luis Moro and his gang are voting for their own movies. All the reviews and threads are fake. Thats really sad... The only Luis Moro movie that deserves the rating is "Anne B. Real", it´s No.1 on the IMDB bottom 100.

I have no connection to the film except that I'm a Gale Harold fan, so I ordered it. I have a problem with the ending (which I won't spoil) but it's a minor flaw in what I consider a very good film. It's a lot lighter in tone than I expected (which is one reason I'd prefer a less dark ending), and I had a wonderful time watching it. Actually, I've watched it a couple of times since and had the same reaction. There's a marvelous sense of place, and it's picturesque and humane. Not really the Southern Gothic thing the trailers suggest.

Do you have proof to back up your claim that all the reviews and threads are fake? Or are you basing this assumption about your disdain for what I believe is an extremely powerful and moving film?

I dont understand why all the neg comments about this movie. I thought it was a movie that makes you think about how the events we grow through while growing up tend to turn that person into who they end up being. The most profound line in the film was at the end when Sammy says something like, "I wonder if we would live differently if we lived live starting at the end." That just brought it all together. When we are young we learn and make mistakes, then we live our lives dealing with those mistakes. Although after many years of living we (if we are smart and continue to learn) make peace with those moments and understand more the world and lives around us. Maybe I am overthinking it, but isnt that what good films do make us think about our own lives? Thanks for a powerful film!

I wholeheartedly agree with this comment, psych_student.

What one person considers a bad film, another person may find it a very good film. Get over it...everyone has their own opinions, dislikes, etc. If you don't like it, then you don't like it. Just because you don't like it doesn't make it a bad film.

I don't know about who submitted the reviews on this site, but I have to agree with you regarding the film being bad - although I would say that the film made me squirm at the horrendously bad acting by the main male characters. I watched the film to the end and felt that I wasted my time. So, I agree with you.

Which main male character?

Well, I don't even remember the movie! I don't like to pick out any "main male character" and say that one or him, when I no longer recollect. Evidently the movie left no impression on me. Sorry.
