Nothing more than soft-core porn. The acting was bad, the plot was stupid, and the sound was off so that the actors looked like they were not in sync to their vocals.
The worst actor was the stepfather who played it like Eugene Levy. :)

How would an audience know it's a $1500 film? All they know is what's in the picture - and it's really bad.
This awfullness is not coming from the lack of money, but the lack of talents.

Wow I haven't heard the word "Wretched" in a while. LOL
Anyway I thought Alex Wilson was the only one who could act. I did like the story until the "cop-out" ending.
I knew it was low budget so I forgave the bad audio, obvious low budget locations, etc. I just liked the story, could have been done better on screen but I bet it was great on paper.
It was a little movie with a great story.
No - the worst actor was the mother - it was painful to watch her. Seriously, they could have had the kid in drag play the mother better and more realistically. She was Madonna-esque in her wooden delivery and I swear at times she was reading off cue cards like they cast her last minute.
I didn't think anybody else was all that bad, and I think the movie rocked. I wasn't expecting much, but I loved it - so silly, and sexy and campy - I can't believe all the bad reviews - what are these people expecting? It's one of the best straight-to-dvd gay movies I've seen in a long time.
