There is only one almighty....The movie should have really been called Evan (and the) Almighty. Same with Bruce (and the) Almighty. But then again they could have called Star Wars "A son eventually kills his father"

He's not. In Bruce Almighty, Bruce was given God-like powers, so the name worked. But it doesn't for this one.

I guess they just were continuing the name, as this was if not a sequel, at least a spin-off.
