to keep the deeping wall from being breached in helms deep? I have no trouble with the level, but each time I play it I try not to let them breach the wall but they do every time.

Yes, it's possible. Just keep watching for the mine (there'll be an alarm when they'll start bringing them). Have Legolas, Gimli or Eowen make their special ranged attack on it, and you should be safe. I managed to do it one or two times (but most of the times I don't bother)
