Little Manhattan vs. Melody 1971

You guys ever see Melody (SWALK) from 1971? I really like Little Manhattan when it came out and it felt like a movie I had seen before, and it just dawned on me that the movie is Melody which is kinda similiar. If you guys are looking for a good movie with great music and romantic themes like little manhattan you should give this movie a twirl. the main girl looks like a cross between emma watson and miley cyrus. It's currently unavailable in the US but you can watch it free on GOOGLEVIDEO at http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=3578692700171397566 the ending is awesome!!!!!

I loved both these movies. I only saw "Melody" once in the Seventies - the Bee Gees did the soundtrack and I was just getting into them at the time. I'd love to see it again. Something about that first love...... :)

just watching the movie and decided to take a break and look at imdb. it's currently available on netflix (melody) with mark lester..that's a name from the past (oliver!)

I didn't see Melody but did see Moonrise Kingdom.

Its an offbeat comedy with deadpan humor. In it, two 12 years olds elope and get married in an offbeat ceremony. The boy. a throwaway orphan, is adopted by Bruce Willis, the chief of police. Meanwhile Willis is having an affair with the girl's mother. The boy is thus able to continue seeing her daily.

I don't know everything. Neither does anyone else
