Was anyone else reminded of 'Clockwork Orange'?

In that, while the emphasis is clearly quite different, the central theme is partly the same: an examination of what to do with violent members of society. In CW the movie concentrates on depiciting that violence rather than Alex's "treatment"... but having "cured" Alex of his violent streak, he's released back into an intrinsically violent society where he can no longer defend himself. "Animal" seems to be a movie that asks us to consider some of the same questions and issues that Kubrick and Burgess asked, 30 years back.

I agree. To me, the thematic material and the questions it asks is, essentially, A Clockwork Orange repeated. Just read that book or watch the film of it.
