Such a cute movie

I didn't get my first American Girl doll (which waS Samantha) until I was 14. I wanted one since I was 7. This movie was so adorable. It made me so reminiscent. The movie wasn't that close to the book, but it was still so good. Since I live in Chicago, this movie is making me want to go to the American Girl Store and buy a bunch of dolls.

It was adorable. I loved it. My mom even liked it. It was disturbing for a childrens movie to show a little boy get his fingers caught in a sewing machine, but that's what really happened back then.
lol Everytime they said 'Uncle Gard', I thought of 'Uncle Hubbs' lol. That was what my brother called him because he didn't like the name 'Gard' when we did a mini play.

Jenifer, you can just go to www.americangirl.com and order one. They don't sell American Girl dolls at places like Toys R Us.

In the books, the girl who ruined the veil's name was Alice and she was Cornelia's sister. She was 3 in and instead of burning it, she made a dress-up wedding gown out of it. In the movie, her name is Agatha.

If you look at the pictures at the top of the page you will see that Nellie has the doll in her arms when they are running from the orphanage.
