Just finished watching this movie after several recommendations. The movie was simply amazing. I haven't seen a Bollywood movie of such competence in a long time. This movie deserves a much better rating than it has.

Another good thing about the movie is that it is an original screenplay which is a sort of rarity with Bollywood movies which are actually worth a watch. Most good movies are just a rip-off of some Hoooywood flick.

Also the acting was very good especially Dimple Kapadia. She really did a fine job.

There are lots of good original movies...you just have to look for them...try Maharathi(2009)...definitely worth a look...

dimple was SUPERB in this movie mindblowing I had to remember that she starred in bollywood movies with the whole song and dance- she is amazing

Ya know, I read this in a lot of reviews of Indian films and I don't understand why this notion gets so much traction when a ton load of American films are copies of other American films and some foreign films. The funny part is that Indian film makers rip-off other Indian films too. No one is clean on this.

Inspiration is a global thing. But copy is entirely something different. As far as I can recall, this isn't a copy. But the inspiration does reek to a certain extent. There is a dejavu of "Honeymoon killers 1967".
