FOX and its DISAPPEARING ACTS.....

Has this Life on a Stick show been AXED yet? Haven't been hearing about it. What is up with fox and these crappy shows they keep pushing out???? Im glad they brought back Family Guy, which at the beginning of the return episode last night made a pretty funny joke about FOX and its AXED shows. Just take a look at this list???? What the hell is FOX doing over there????

1. That 80's Show
2. Titus
3. Andy Richter Controls the Universe
4. Undeclared
5. Dark Angel
6. Greg the Bunny
7. Girl's Club
8. 30 Seconds to Fame
9. John Doe
10. Married by America
11. Mr. Personality
12. Fastlane
13. Cedric the Entertainer
14. Wanda at Large
15. Wonderfalls
16. Paradise Hotel
17. Method and Red
18. North Shore
19. Johnny Zero
20. Point Pleasant

Lord I can't go on....and for the most part these shows are from the 2004-2005 seasons....did I forget any????

OHHHHH....and I must not forget the stupid extra hour they added to their morning news broadcast "Good Day Live"...what the hell was that, a girl that just kept the Jillian Barbery jokes going for another hour???? SAVE IT!!! Glad they AXED THAT!!! EW

Well the best way to answer your question is. Fox are *beep* they cancel good dramas and comedies for *beep* like Reality tv. It's a good thing Married by America was cancelled. One less reality show to worry about.

Now cancel the rest of reality tv.

Life on a Stick is CANCELLED. acording to Fox articles they decided to pull the plug on the show. They pulled it for may sweeps becuase of low ratings. They were going to bring the show back in June but now it seems unlikely.

It wasn't on tonight even thought TV Guide listed it as being on at its usual time (9:30, 5/5/05). I guess it's a goner... hopefully Rachelle Lefevre (or however you spell her name) will persevere and rise again!

I'm going to assume that this show is cancelled (I liked it, but I didn't expect it to make it), but there is still hope. Fox may dump whatever episodes still have yet to be shown over summertime, and then that'll be it. Unfortunately. I kinda hope that this gets released on DVD, because I wouldn't mind owning it.

Looks like you forgot to take your anti-retard pills again.

Why the heck would they dump Life on a Stick and run a PREVIOUSLY aired episode of Stacked? Don't get me wrong, I don't think Stacked is all that bad, but I want my darn Life on a Stick! I am growing tired with FOX's antics. Greg the Bunny was funny, and so was Titus... And they are gone forever! What gives?

WTF! I was just watching FOX yesterday (King of the Hill, Malcolm in the Middle, Simpsons, Family Guy, American Dad) and I saw a commercial for some stupid ass reality show. I don't even recall what it was about now, it was so retarded. This is what they got rid of Life on a Stick for?

On the website they say Life On A Stick is supposed to return on June 1. My guess is that Fox doesn't know which show to cancel Stacked or Life On A Stick. May I offer them some advice cancel Stacked as Christopher Lloyd is holding that show together as he is the only one on the show with any actual comedic talent. Why a network never gives Christopher Lloyd his own series instead of casting him in crappy shows I'll never now. Give him a show and you'll have your ratings I mean he was Rev. Jim on Taxi for christ's sake. Life On A Stick although not great is at least consistantly funny and some of the characters like Fred, the Dad and Mr. Hutt are hilarious and the other actors are very funny as well. I think Fox thinks that they can steal some of Lost's ratings which as a Lost fan I can tell you it aint gonna happen.

The main reason that they pulled Life on a Stick over Stacked was that Life was only retaining 40% of its lead-in ratings from American Idol (which means the two shows weren't that compatible). Stacked (when they swapped spots a few weeks ago) managed to keep somewhere around 70% (still not great, but better). I wouldn't look for it to come back past the initial 13 episodes that FOX ordered, especially with the reality crap-fest known as summer programming coming (although the drama Prison Break looks pretty darn good), and FOX announcing its pilots for the 2005-2006 season (see thefutoncritic.com for details).

Basically it came down to ratings (more specifically demographic ratings) where 18-34 is the king, and when you don't preform, you get the axe. Look at That 70's Show, it has never had *huge* ratings but manages to place first in the demographics nearly every week. That's why its still on the air, although it seems to have faultered in writing the last few seasons.

We'll know everything for sure in a few weeks when upfronts start and the networks announce their FALL schedules.

I'm done geeking out...
