Soon to be an Underground hit.

I see everyone's comments, and I wonder "Did we see the same show?". I loved life on a stick because it was more real than any "reality" TV show. You may scoff, but I know several families of step-siblings and teenagers that work in fast food service places. And surprisingly enough, this is how they talk, and how they behave. This IS how the newest generation of americans are.

After watching several episodes, i felt like someone had been following me around recording things me or my friends during our conversations. I've yet to find a sitcom that truly captures the essence of teen lingo better than this. (that is, white teen lingo)

I recommend to anyone, to go out and find a copy of the unaired episodes, the rest of the series rocks!

You may disagree, you may argue the humor is not there, but for those of us who live this daily, it's incredibly funny. In fact, I've not found anyone in real life who doesn't like the show, once they've seen it.

People just haven't taken the time to watch it, like Firefly. They blow it off because it came from FOX. Anyone who hates American Idol usually doesn't get to see some of the other great shows out there that FOX occassionally delivers.

Sadly enough, Life on a stick was replaced by Stacked, probably because they had to pay Pam Anderson so much money.

Watch for these actors to reappear later on, and probably do something very big.

I completely agree with grmrpr00. I have a boring job that could pay better and I have to deal with stupid people all day and this show was just what I needed to see while burning one after work. Does anyone know where I can get ahold of the entire season? I still live in the stone age, so downloading them would take forever.

i love this show! too bad i only got to see one episode before "Stacked" took its place. ooh, big boobs beats substance and true comedy!

I thought it was really great because you didn't have to think. Sometimes it's nice to just sit down and laugh without having to think about why the jokes are funny, they just are.

ahahaha thank god other people love it :D
i think this show is great and the randomness is hilarious.

I loved this show on the first run, and not it's on HDnet at 2 am every sunday morning. They're playing the whole series, even the unaired episodes. Such a well written show. Victor Fresco, the creator/writer, also wrote for "Andy Richter Controls the Universe", which I thought was an amazingly funny, smart show. I loved "Undeclared" as well, another fox comedy that was killed before it could create an audience.

I used to hate the office, but after watching 2 episodes, I think it's one of the most hilarious shows I've seen in years. The characters are so intense, and they have great chemistry. Watch Dwight for a few episodes and tell me you don't laugh out loud.

HDnet? is that UK?

I have to say, I love this show. Usually my humor is more along the Arrested Development/Scrubs/The Office side of things, but I also have a soft spot for "traditional" sitcoms and this one was pretty good, IMO. Never saw it when it aired, but after I got an HDTV and HDDVR I went through a phase where I gave ANYTHING a try as long as it was HD and this show immediately caught my attention. It's a show where you don't have to think and it delivers plenty of laughs each ep.

I watched about 5 episodes of this show... I'm 19 years old and I roughly live the same lifestyle... And I have to say, this show sucks like a turbocharged hoover. Boring plot, boring characters, and the actors don't help much... And what about that episode where the mean girl hates old people? Ooooooooh... I hope I don't meet her in a dark alley at night.

P.S. Try not to mention or refer to Happy Days and you-know-which-"sitcom" in the same sentence, it's not good for Happy Days...

lol yeah i agree...acting is bad...writing is bad and not funny...having said that the only one i like and found funny was the molly character...who you dont see enough of...

Totally agree this show was awesome, I found it by chance looking for things to watch about 6 months after its original run and was disappointed to later find out it was not renewed. Fred and Molly were my favorite characters. I always come back to it and watch it through out the year surprisingly i never get tired of it.
