Soon to be an Underground hit.
I see everyone's comments, and I wonder "Did we see the same show?". I loved life on a stick because it was more real than any "reality" TV show. You may scoff, but I know several families of step-siblings and teenagers that work in fast food service places. And surprisingly enough, this is how they talk, and how they behave. This IS how the newest generation of americans are.
After watching several episodes, i felt like someone had been following me around recording things me or my friends during our conversations. I've yet to find a sitcom that truly captures the essence of teen lingo better than this. (that is, white teen lingo)
I recommend to anyone, to go out and find a copy of the unaired episodes, the rest of the series rocks!
You may disagree, you may argue the humor is not there, but for those of us who live this daily, it's incredibly funny. In fact, I've not found anyone in real life who doesn't like the show, once they've seen it.
People just haven't taken the time to watch it, like Firefly. They blow it off because it came from FOX. Anyone who hates American Idol usually doesn't get to see some of the other great shows out there that FOX occassionally delivers.
Sadly enough, Life on a stick was replaced by Stacked, probably because they had to pay Pam Anderson so much money.
Watch for these actors to reappear later on, and probably do something very big.
