The day after Meghan tried to kiss Joe

How did you guys see the interchange between Meghan and Joe the morning after Meghan tried to kiss Joe?
Meghan was apologetic, embarrassed, and very eager to make things right between her and Joe.
Joe was still upset that Meghan tried to kiss him and grope him when she was drunk the night before.
Frankly I expected him to say something like:

"well, we have all done things when we were drunk we regretted afterward. As long as you know I love my wife and don't fool around on her then we are fine. Let's forget about it and focus on work."

But Joe seemed like he was unable to forgive her at all. And I was surprised by that.
What did you guys think?

He didn't trust her. He knew that she would probably slip again. Actually he was right, she did end up being a 'bottom feeder' (as described by another character).

I know she turned out to be a bottom feeder of the worst sort.

The thing is, when he found out it had all been a set up to make him so uncomfortable being around her that he would quit, he was happy about it because she bought him out.

To me, I would have been angry when I found out it had all been a set up, not when, from all the facts I had at the time it appeared to be a drunken mistake.

It seemed clear to me, and apparently to Joe, that was not a drunken mistake. She was flirty and manipulative from the get-go. When they were in the restaurant and he was telling her he was passing on the deal and she told him to sit down because people would think they were having a "lover's quarrel", I knew there was trouble ahead. That was a very unprofessional thing to say.

I consider that just another example of Joe being the perfect husband. I don't think many people would've reacted like that, but at the same time I feel it's the only right way to handle a situation like this. Their firm consisted of only the two of them working very closely together. What Meghan did was extremely dangerous for their partnership and his marriage. I know I'd like my husband to react as Joe did, like he found it unforgiveable, and not like you suggested. How would you feel if it happened to your partner?
