Last week's episode

I loved this episode. Finally, we got a chance to see not one, but two black actresses in Kevin's life. His future girlfriend?? Not sure about her yet, and what about Sara's real mother? I think her role will be significant in the near future. Eventhough her character was about a someone who got mixed up with a drug dealer and was at the wrong place at the wrong time, it was good to see Kevin have dealings with black sisters for a change on this show. It desperately needed it. He also could use more scenes from his boss, who is black. Not much of her is seen in any of the episodes, well maybe a couple of times.

I like all the other drama but I just hope they keep the black sister perspective going on this show.

I am a black woman and I don't have a problem with the show. I love the show. I can't understand why so many other black women have a problem with brothers dating outside of our race. My husband is a strong black man and if he were white I would still be married to him. I look at the person and not the color of his skin. I have 3 sons if they want to date a white woman it is up to them. If my daughter wanted to date a white man it is up to her. I just want my kids to be happy with whomever they are with. I think it is wrong for us to get mad at brothers who date or are married to white women. It is not our business in the first place. I know a lot of people don't feel the way that I do but that's them. My take is that God doesn't look at skin color. He looks at our heart.

I love the show too!

I don't have a problem with brothers dating/marrying white women or any other race for that matter. That's there personal choice just like it is for us. I'm basically talking about his show. It's all fiction but nothing would be wrong with including more black characters in Kevin's life. I look at this way...here you have a very intelligent black man, living in NY with a great profession, living well and he has no other significant black person male or female) in his life. Come on let's get real...it's as if hollywood is saying that once you reach the top don't look back where you came from, just look for white you'll be better off! There are plenty of sisters who not only have great careers but also own their own businesses. I respect your thoughts on this topic but I'm not biased, I just would like to see more attractive black females or males in leading dramatic roles, mainly because it's almost null and void in the acting business.

That's cool. I see where you are coming from.
