why did it end?

Why did they cancel it? it was a good show.

Fox is notorious for cancelling new shows without giving them a chance to survive. I wouldn't recommend watching anything on that channel.

Love is a rose but you better not pick it.

prison break looks interesting but it gets boring after a while. i stopped watching it after an episode (the first one actually). i'm surprised it's even coming back for a second season.

I didn't think it was rubbish. I thought it was decent, and a lot more absorbing than most crime shows today. I did notice that every single serial killer had some sort of personal confrontation with Agent Locke. That got on my nerves after a while. But that was a fixable flaw, not enough to cancel a show!

I'm so pissed too! Anyhow sign my petition that i will send to FOX at http://www.thepetitionsite.com/takeaction/400896612 so we can get those bastards to put it on DVD

reply

It got cancelled because it got terrible ratings

reply

It's currently on one of the satellite channels in the UK and I really like it. I think there are probably a few too many of these crime dramas (are there 3 CSIs now) so probably didn't stand out too much.

It's a shame as the characters are all decent, good stories and the like.

Guess I should just enjoy it while I can.

Serves them right for copying a canadian show...

BecauseFox has a history of dumping shows beofore it can find an audience. I worked on all 13 shows and the last few 5 or 6 are some of the best. I guess people wanted to watch Dancing with the Stars which was put on oposite The Inside. Well Rachel Nicols went on to Alias .

I didnt find Rachel Nichols Character Rebecca Locke particularly likeable, Adam Baldwin and Katie Finnerans Characters were just 2 dimensional Sidekicks with not much to do. I did like Peter Coyote's Character though, so on the whole I can see why it was not a success but think it should have been given a longer run. The way things are at FOX TV i suppose its lucky it got a run at all.

is it me or is Adam Aldwin Unlucky cus this 2nd show That got Cancelled see Firefly that aslo got axed afetr 14 episoded

Im Not Blaming Adam Baldwin cus he A Great Actor

Probly the Reason why Fox Axe this

Cus Of 24, Prison Break, they Probly can be botherd to fit it in there schedrules Plus I Blame Pop Idol USA and Simon Cowell cus i think this the Reason why there Axing the Decents Show i wudnt be Suprised if the Axe The Simpsons

Fox is Like Marmite who either Love it or hate it

From the description it sounds like Ally Walker's "Profiler" combined with Lance Henricksen's "Millennium" -- and Fox let Millennium stay on for 3 seasons so perhaps it was something else?

BTW: Is it worth looking for P2P downloads of the series? Since Firefly had only 14 episodes total (a few not even aired) a lot of people dismiss it without knowing its genius. With so few episodes, is The Inside the same way (Tim Minnear rox!) or was it predictable, formulaic...

I thought it was pretty good. It is well worthe downloading.

"A Priest,a Rabbi, and a Minister walk into a bar. Jack Bauer is going to find out why."

reply

I Think the reason is that Fox Cancelled it because of Joss Whedon and it had some of the same people that helped made Firefly and Serenity

reply

i actaully like this serie but i understand why some people dont.

its always about lock, they always kidnap her, she always get wounded and no on else. its just like its always about her and its just so fake.

but well i like it

reply

I have not long watched it and IMO it was very good and as said above it could well be classed as a mix of "Profiler and Millennium".
Something worth checking is the order you watch, or get them in, as per normal the idiots in charge mess with the order to try to get the (well what they think) better shows, out first to try to pull numbers in, (now it seems they get some other director or team to make the first few than drop them for a lower costing team) ...but often end up screwing with the flow of the show.

A shame, I would love to see more of them.

reply

Yes it was a wonderful show. Loved Rachel and the cast. I especially loved that it was more character based than plot based. That made it fun to watch.

reply

If I recall the article correctly, you can blame Dancing with the Stars. That did well, so Fox had to come up with So You Think You Can Dance, which did well. And I think they ran it for 1.5 hrs which cut into The Inside's timeslot.

reply

It was hacky crap. The recycled cop jargon smeared across the stale dialogue highlighted the lifeless characters. This show didn't die soon enough. Stop mourning garbage when so many other, better shows deserve to be mourned.

reply

You are an idiot!

reply

You didn't watch the show with an open mind.
