Yes, it doesn't always make a heck of a lot of sense plot-wise, and there are plenty of inconsistencies with respect to the earlier films, but there was a lot this got right for me, too, and its heart seemed in the right place. At least it was way, way better than Day of the Dead 2: Contagium, which I thought was a mess.

I gave Necropolis a 7/10. If they had worked on the script a bit more and paid more attention to the "rules" of this fictional world per the earlier films, this could have been great.

It also sure didn't hurt that there were three beautiful women in it (and plenty more in the background).

Is everyone in this house a total nutzoid or is it just me?

Yes I agree it could have been better, but its a movie, its only to entertain/kill (or waste)time. I try not to let my mind overanalyze these kinds of movies. I agree the women were nice looking, but then so were the guys. I really liked the soundtrack. They had some nice songs in the movie...The one after this (Rave to the grave) was so silly and hilarious, but this one was my fave out of those two (I hated part 3). And obviously parts 1 and 2 were good....

I have to agree with both of you. This movie is nothing superb but honestly, 2.8 out of 10? It's bad, but it's not that bad. It held my interest, the gore was fun, the zombies were decent, especially the main characters mom and dad as robo-zombies. Honestly, if this movie didn't have the Return Of The Living Dead name in it I don't think the rating would be as low, that's all this really is. It's nothing spectacular, it's time killing b-movie and that's all there is. The last one, Rave To The Grave was *beep* awful and wasn't fun at all, and while I rate this one below the first three it still doesn't deserve all the hate that it's garnered. Just pretend it's not a Return Of The Living Dead sequel and you won't really be able to tell the difference.

I did not give it as high a marking as you, but I thought it was just pointlessly camp entertainment. Not as bad as some make out. I have seen & worked on a lot worse.

It was alright. Not nearly as good as the first three but also not nearly as bad as people make it out to be. At least it was entertained which is all I ask from a film. If you can't make it good then at least make it fun.
