About 22:10 of this podcast. Says it was the best movie he's seen recently. "Bad" movie is what he says.

Who gives a *beep* if its Lil Wayne approved. Lil Wayne has to be the worst rapper alive, not to mention one of the worst artists to have ever lived. He will never be as good as MC's such as Nas, Talib Kweli, Mos Def, Lupe Fiasco, Common, Vinnie Paz from Jedi Mind Tricks, hell you probably don't even know who those people are. *beep* Lloyd Banks who i hate is still better than Lil Wayne. Lil Wayne is the reason hip-hop is dying, and is why mainstream rap and hip-hop is no longer tolerable.

As far as this movie goes, i didn't mind it that much. Although i felt it tried a bit hard to be like one of Quentin Tarantino's movie.

you would notice that tarantino rips off/pays homage 2-3 movies to make 1 of his

I wasn't name dropping I was simply saying Vinnie Paz isn't even as famous or mainstream as Wayne, and he's still better. Lupe Fiasco is incredible, your the one that was to joking. Your right I don't know who Sage Francis is, but I do know Immortal Techniqueand Ill Bill. Immortal's flow is *beep* but his lyrics are always on point.

I know Tarantino rips off movies, he admitted it himself. I'm aware cinema was around before Tarantino, im not even a big fan of his, I only like two of his movies; Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction, everything else i could care less for, especially the two Kill Bill movies.

Basically, all i was trying to say was Lil Wayne is a crap MC.

the ast hyde album was pretty weak and it kills anything lupe has even imagined.

Pump your breaks before u go ragging on lupe. You would bash lupe to defend a POS pseudo artist like lil wayne? There's something wrong with you lil wayne is one of the most overrated so called MCs in the rap world today. He isn't even a song writer the guy does stream of conscious which anyone with half knowledge of rythmin could pull off. Hes no tupac even though hes got a high volume of material. What he does is easily doable

Ill Bill, Vinny Paz etc that *beep* isnt all that. Only Necro rules that real deathrap.

first off; good point. Every rapper is trying to make money off their records, otherwise they wouldn't release them in the first place or just give 'm away for free.

And for those complaining about "why everyone's comparing to Quentin Tarantino" OF COURSE everyone is comparing to his movies because he PUT HIS NAME ON IT and he's the executive producer.

the mainstream is and will always = GARBAGE.

you cannot sell records unless, you dumb down for easy consumption.

lil wayne sells a ton because there are millions of people that lack taste.
(if you go platnium its got nothing to do with luck, jus means a million people are stupid as *beep*) you know the song.

i dont think every rapper wants to sell tons, case in point the new cage album sucks (in my opinion). i still like the dude,and respect him for doing his own thing no matter the out come... but i dont like the new album. if he wanted sell a ton...he would hae stuck with the same formula.

im a necro fan but ill bill is killing it. la coka is too sick. i think my problem with necro is he is becoming a cartoon of himself. especialy with all the lame guest he has on his albums. we get it you are friends with guys in *beep* metal bands. you dont have to use them on every track. and dont get me wrong thats why i love necro/ill bill...i was raised on slayer and nwa too. i like how on prefix if and when he used metal, it was reputable bands (obituary). on a side note has anyone heard any of the new goretex aka supercoven?

lil' wayne is sick, great party tunes, he's the ACDC of rap, don't sit down and listen to him, party and listen to him

and we can all sit here and run our mouths off naming all these unheard of rappers and bands trying to seem as if we are "hip" to the music scene but it's nothing that you couldn't of googled

i assume you are all gonna turn around and tell me how i lack taste and don't know the rap artist you speak off but it does nothing more then prove my point that people will always turn away from mainstream because it's cool to know artists other people don't....weak as piss

oh and lil' wayne wasn't always main stream, he worked hard and broke out like most other artists who sell a lot of music, mainly starting with um...what are they called....oh right mix tapes that may of may not of been sold out of the trunk of his car....check your facts

Rock music (especially older rockers) made drug use seem cool to the same age group...Jimi, Janis, & Jim Morrison used hardcore drugs and they all died like tupac, except tupac didn't cause his own death...so hip hop isn't the only genre that shows ugly lifestyles to kids

Mainstream rap might be all about pussy and *beep* *beep* up but there is a lot of rappers out there who rap about other stuff as well. Im not really into the whole rap-thing but I love Jedi Mind Tricks, AOTP, Marco Polo etc, but yeah mainstream rap is made for 14-year olds wannabe gangsters. True.
