Very enjoyable!
Firmly plant your tongue next to your cheek because this movie just oozes coolness with a truckload of cheese. You know what? I loved it. B+ for a B movie.
I almost did not watch this movie due to the low IMDB rating. I decided to watch another trailer and it looked right up my ally. I recommend people watch the trailer since it does a pretty good job of showing what you'll be in for.
I thoroughly enjoyed the cast choices. I don't know why but I loved the main actor/director. Maybe it's because I liked his small role in Kill Bill 2 so much. The swagger that he has gives Michael Madsen a run for his money.
I felt the movie had good pacing. You're fed off-beat lines of dialogue along with snippets of action and enough story to keep you interested in how this will all play out in the end. The story was no brain buster but the little twists and turns were enjoyable. The dialogue is nonsensical at times, but that's also what gives it that fun flavor.
The hate for this movie is so undeserved. I love a good drama but I also love a good B movie. This movie filled that B movie need in spades. One does not have to be fourteen years of age or of low intelligence to enjoy a movie like this. One does have to set all pretensions about movies and their own intelligence aside.
