Anyone get goosebumps during the kissing scene?
It could have come off as so cheesy, but it didn't.

shareYeah, I really loved it a lot. Photography, performance, and editing is so great during that part. And then the following dialogue "I wish I could have felt this" was crushing.
shareI did too, but not in the way I think you did.
I got goosebumps the way I do when I feel a deep moral repulsion.
it was an excellent scene. the briefest moment of passion in her life, and of hope in the film. but an imposter, no more truer than the fish tank is a real body of water. it was bittersweet...
shareI did. That was just beautiful and sad.
"Daddy! He's killed Steve and he's jamming the door with him!"
I did, but for another reason: I thought it would trigger/lead to something terrible, perhaps Louis's erupting in anger at her for "breaking the rules," even though they were apparently her own. I think the music prompted my thinking this.
It seemed so out of character for each of them (to that point) as to be "too good to be true." A sort of "careful what you wish for" scenario, with him - I dunno, viciously biting off her lip or something.
Apologies for all the clichés.
