Romain Duris looks like Maximillian Schell

I saw this movie when it was shown on BBC 4. I see it has won BAFTAs but I don't recall it coming to Bristol (perhaps it did and I missed it). I kept on wondering who Romain Duris reminded me of. It's that chin - looks like Maximillian Schell. This film has some typically French moments (which English or American directors would not arrange). Two stand out - the blush of the Chinese girl when the lead kisses her (on the cheek) after she has wished him good luck for his audition and the conversation between the lead and his friend's wife when he tells her they are attracted to each other. The violence was very graphic. The sex was tastefully done. Nice slow burn - agree the soundtrack was very good.
