A view of the very end (spoilers)
I saw the very end of the film (when Tom didn't kill Minskov and ended up as Miao's agent) as representing Tom finally choosing art over his past criminal lifestyle.
However, surely not getting rid of Minskov and leaving him in such a state has left Tom in a pretty bad position, at least in the powerful Minskov's eyes, no?
Did this not occur to anyone else?
Great film by the way, I was scared to death it'd fall into cliche and end up with his hand being shot off and the poor sod being unable to play anymore!
