What was the alternate ending?
One of the reviewers mentioned an alternate ending - has anyone seen that? What is it, because the ending I saw on TV was aweful.

It's available on the DVD. It's a much simpler and less disturbing ending. Sarah throws the box into the water. Ebril and Adelle curl up in bed and are shown to be in Annwn. Adelle doesn't have her real daughter back but they seem to be content (no ominous shepherd coming into the room).
