U.S. Release?

Does anybody know when All the Invisible Children will be released in the U.S.? I live in Oregon but I can't figure out how to see this movie. My foreign friends told me it's great. Thanks.

The thing is, I had the chance to talk to some of the directors of the film and this film was originally conceived together with a charitable organization, I forgot which one and not for money making purposes. Once they told me that, I automatically assumed that it would not come out in Theatres nor come out on DVD, which really really sucks.

But that is screwed-up. I mean, lots of people want this film on dvd, and if they want to impress the world or whatever, release this on dvd man. This film is more than a year old, and still no dvd?

HOw did you get a hold of this dvd? Please let me know how so that I can get ahold of the dvd as well.

I saw the trailer on youtube, but not the whole film.

Please advise how i can watch this movie again.

As you know, the DVD has been released in some countries, but oddly enough, not in the North American market. I know that it is available, for example, in Region 3.

Last December, I finally located the company which seems to be responsible for distribution rights: Adriana Chiesa Enterprises, in Rome, Italy.

I exchanged email with them, but didn't get much info. This was their response:

"Unfortunately the film is not available in the US since no US distributor has picked up the film for distribution."

That is really unfortunate as this movie should certainly be seen there by as many people as possible. I would have already bought several for gifts had they been available.

That company didn't seem very interested in pursuing this issue, but I think that all people interested in seeing this movie released in Region 1 (U.S./Canada) should email them and let your feelings be known. Maybe it will prompt them to put some effort into finding a distributor. See below.
