Grace Under Fire set?

is this filmed on the same set as Grace Under Fire?? The house looks almost identical.

reply

when i saw a tv spot for it i couldve sworn it was the drew carey show set

reply

I thought it was Grace's house too.

Firstly, would it really be THAT surprising to anyone that sets for low rent sitcoms might get recycled ?
Secondly, is this in any way important or relevant to ANYONE's life, save maybe to an out-of-work set builder ? Doesn't seem like it's a point of interest, or ever will be.
And if you're in any way tempted to point out the irony that I'm here decrying the pointlessness of a topic while actually granting it the importance I originally denied it by the mere fact that I deem it worthy of acknowledgement, don't bother. It's my calling card.

Seeing as this is a forum for discussion of a tv show perhaps you should not participate again as you are obviously not able to participate, just critise and belittle.

reply

Criticisms *ARE* forms of discussion.

"obviously not able to participate" ??? Who are you, captain Knows Everything ?

You know, I was quite content to stay off this particular board until you had to draw me back in with your insightful comment there. So well done. You've achieved the EXACT OPPOSITE of your aim. Oooh, look, another criticism !

Mwah-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha.

So why can't we talk about it too, spamwithbeans?

Wow, a mere THREE ENTIRE YEARS on, this nearly fully-decomposed horse is being dug up for a flogging!
Is that an imdb record ?

I'm not entirely sure what your question is, as this doesn't quite make sense: "So why can't we talk about too, spamwithbeans?"

Are you asking me why you can't talk about it ?

You can all talk about whatever you want, just don't resent my contribution to the discussion and my opinion when I point out it's a really weak topic.

reply

You didn't just give an opinion, but made a judgment about others opinions/questions. You said, "Doesn't seem like it's a point of interest, or ever will be." Well, it was an interesting enough thought to someone to post the question, a couple of people to respond to it (including the time YOU took to respond) and for me to notice the question, yes, three years later. If it was so uninteresting to you why did you bother to do any more than read the question, let alone consider a response and still respond again THREE ENTIRE YEARS later having spoken your peace?

I'm not angry, just bewildered by what you said.

"How do I set a laser pointer to stun?"

reply

Yeah, that's a fair point, when you're right, you're right, I was making a judgment about others opinions (IN ADDITION TO giving an opinion), HOWEVER, you ARE wrong when you insist that it is an interesting topic. The undeniable facts are that a paltry five people interested in it over a period of FOUR and a HALF YEARS most definitely does NOT an interesting topic make. Sorry, them's the facts, my friend. (I'm not including myself in the people interested, because sometimes I just go on the boards specifically looking for the most uninteresting posts - it's their lameness that makes it fun.)

Since you're wondering, I only replied to your own three-years-on reply because, as I'm sure you know, whenever a reply gets posted to a message, the poster gets an email, so it's not like I was revisiting this thread because it was so fascinating, but I am sometimes interested in people's responses to my yakkety-yak.

Anyway, in reality I believe everyone is entitled to their thoughts and opinions, even if they're not that interesting, and I didn't want to become a troll over this, but sometimes I like to metaphorically poke the bear just a little - it shakes things up a bit, injects a little drama where there was none.
It kind of worked - after all, it made this lame thread a little spicier, didn't it ?
