This is crap!! And I was just on abc.com and saw a preview of their fall line up, and it has a bunch of new shows on it! Good lord, they don't even listen to us fans, they just ban other shows before they're given a chance. ABC is ridiculous!!!!

How the hell can you call Less Than Perfect a piece of crap, I mean come on Sara Rue, Sherri Shepard and Andy Dick made a perfect cast backed up by great actor's...it was one of the funniest shows to ever grace ABC's screen's.
Feel a bit sad about Hope and Faith, it was cool, but Rodney was TERRIBLE. Rodney just could not act, he was the worst actor on the show. I know its a sitcom so its not really meant to be taken seriously, but come on, put some effort in!

Yeah, I heard about the cancellation of Rodney. I also seen that they cancelled other good shows as well (with exception of Hope and Faith, that sucked). I wonder who the idiots are that run ABC, anyway. As far as sitcoms go anymore, have to go to CBS that still has good shows, such as 2-and-a-Half Men and Still Standing.
Next to Rodney, Fox had the best one in That '70s Show, but that show is now off the air.

Rodney was waaaaaaaaayyyy better than According to Jim. Waaaaaaayyy better. I saw Rodney live in Vegas and he was fricken HILARIOUS!!!!! Hilarious, I tell you. I REALLY liked this show. Hope and Faith was terrible, so good riddance, though Kelly Ripa was funny-ish. Too Bad. I don't watch ABC much anyway since the Dancing with the Stars fiasco.

I agree with you. Rodney is funny as hell. Other than the show, I also listened to one of his CDs. The show was hilarious, similar to the old-school sitcoms like Roseanne, The Cosby Show, Married...With Children, etc.
Unfortunately, prime time television has gone to Hell, just like Saturday morning programming for children. All networks wanted to focus on are reality television, crime dramas, and touchy-feely programs. Unfortunately, sitcoms are a dying breed.
From now on, I am boycotting ABC for the simple fact that they don't listen to the audience, just wanting to put on whatever crap they want to, and the hell with what we want. From now on, I will mostly stick to sports, WWE programming, and movie channels as my choice of what I watch.

i have been watching abc screwing up their best shows with bad or no promotions and unnecessary hiatuses in the past few years, but with Rodney they went one step too far.
plus no 6 last episodes, no season finale, no series finale, and now we have to watch them on european tv rips from the internet instead of on abc tv channel. wow great way to treat your viewers abc!

Yes, prime time television has gone to Hell! It's absolutely pathetic now. I am sooooooo sick of the stupid reality shows! (except for Wife Swap...that is the only good one) What happened to the sitcoms? What are these over-paid producers thinking? Why don't they listen to us common folk? I just learned that Rodney, Still Standing and Yes, Dear have been cancelled. OMG!!! That leaves NOTHING to watch anymore!!

Wow! I can not beleive you just dissed According to Jim! That has to be my favorite sitcom ever! I liked Rodney and watchd it because I know the younger son [Matthew Johston] and thoought it was good. But there just is no comparison to According to Jim. None at all! That show has the BEST comical writers, I swear.

I really liked Rodney and have enjoyed all of his CDs. What is funny about this thread is that one poster claims "Rodney" as unfunny and then turns around and praises Andy Dick as being funny and talented.

shareWasn't good at all? Hell I actually laughed out loud once every episode, not many shows do that to me. This is why I only watch shows in syndication, I hate to fall in love with a new show just to see it get canceled. I watch em in syndication, most of the time it means there are enough episodes to make it worthwhile to keep watching, in Rodney's case it's on an overseas station "Star World" and they must have bought all the ABC shows because they are showing all the ones mentioned that got the axe.
