When was it Cancelled?

I think I was in 7th grade when this show first aired, and I loved it. I remeber after watching I guess about a season it wasnt on anymore so i assumed it was cancelled. Did the show ever take a break for a couple of weeks (Supernatural does this sometimes) and come back on? When was it actually cancelled?
