I'm glad to hear this. The first two episodes have been pretty good, and I think that this can grow into a REALLY good show.
shareI still want to generate a better idea of the show than the preview, but the first episode didn't convince me, and my father threatened my life when I tried to turn it on yesterday. It has it's moments, but it just isn't that good from what I've seen. Something must be clicking to get those ratings though. What's it up against?
shareIt's not what it is or isn't up against, it's what it is between that is giving it the ratings. By itself this show would not last six episodes before being axed. This is a terrible show!
shareFYI.. CBS has ordered 3 additional scripts beyond it's original 13 show buy....so..at least CBS believes in it....so do I....
shareJust got cancelled. Looks like the curse is alive and well. At least they're making progress. Julia Louis-Dreyfus's show and this one lasted longer than "Bob Patterson" and Michael Richards's show did. Maybe the next time one of the supporting stars of Seinfeld makes a series, it will actually last to the second season.
sharei agree. i'm watching an episode now and so far it seems quite funy. the mom character is kinda cute. what's with theo's hair? kudos to georgy. too bad the rest of cbs's monday night crap-o'rama still sux.

monday nights are pretty weak, i mean the main competition in their timeslot is 7th heaven at 8pm... 7th heaven is crap...
and they are lucky 24 is back but in the 9pm time slot, after their 2 hour season premiere last nite...
they did a good job getting a good supporting cast, whereas the mistake other SEinfeld casts had was it centered around the Seinfeld member, and they had a weak supporting casts...
two and a half men (charlie sheen) is a better show than listen up... does much better in ratings...
two and a half men??? isn't that like an updated version of my two dads with sheen NOT the machine?

I haven't seen it yet but I don't know how good it will be. IMO,there hasn't been a good sitcom in a long time exluding Arrested Developement since it is quite different. But I mean is this show actually funny? I accidently caught a bit of that horrid show Bob Patterson with Jason Alexander and it was too much.
I doubt this show will be like that, but is it actually any good? Is there another sitcom it can be compared too?

yes its funny. i don't know what else i can compare it to. its your average *beep* with your jackass father (georgy) who tries to win the love and respect of his smartass daughter and dumbass son and semi-hot wife...and theo from the cosby show.
