Why did this show stop??
hey guys just wondering why this show stopped being made it was better than the O.C. and gossip girl why did they stop making episodes?
shareIt premiered on the wrong channel at the wrong time. ABC isn't known for attracting teen viewers and it came on during a time when ABC was experiencing a windfall of HUGE hits(Lost, Greys, Desperate Housewives). Plus there were constant schedule shifts that halted any momentum it could have gained.
BTW, I agree, it was better than the OC and Gossip Girl. It is one of my favorite teen dramas of the decade.
Personally, the reason why people didn't like it was ebcause it wasn't the same as everything else, it wasn't like The OC, One Tree Hill or Gossip Girl, it was different to evry other teen deama. You see the teen drama's they're all a bunch of 16 year olds finding "true love" and the person they're going to marry... that a total misrepresentation of the youth of today, teenagers in today's society especially guys have one thing on their mind, sex. That's what this show revolved around. The Pilot episode, Dino's goal was to have sex with Jackie. Ben's main goal was to have sex with Ms Young. They're 16, cmon, are we really looking for the "love of our life" at 16? Those who are are generally married 5 times by age 22, and have had 7 children by 30.
