doing it
did anyone ever read the book? i'm pretty sure it's british as they snog all the time lol. does anyone know who wrote it. i read it in high school but didn't know it was what the show was based on.

They were giving out free books at my library, and Doing It was one of them, so I just grabbed it for fun and started reading it. 20 pages into it, I realized that it sounded very similar to the plot of this show (even though I've only seen 2 episodes of this about a year ago). Even the names of the characters sounded the same, so I looked it up, and what do you know? It's totally based of that book! I mean, there are some minor changes, but the major things are taken directly from the book.
shareI just sort of happened upon this show and it's really too bad it didn't make it to another season or two. It got the shaft just like Freaks and Geeks. It's sad because Sachs and Judah made these great shows that both got cancelled. Very talented cast, too.
