I read that Kimi ga Nozomu Eien has been licenced by funimation and will be released under the name 'Rumbling Hearts'. I hate their name for it. Anyways, they say it will be released starting October of this year, and another volume will be released every 4-5 weeks after until it's finished. I'm so glade. This is my absolute favourite show, though I don't like their name for it.

shareI hope they do a good job, if not I'll just watch them once then go back to the Japanese dub. Either way, I'm glad I'll be able to watch it on my TV. Though I still wish they would have picked a better title (like one more true to the original title)

The reason they're using the name Rumbling Hearts is because that was the subtitle on the PS2 game. I personally would've preferred a literal translation of the title, but maybe this was a stipulation set by the studio, I don't know. Maybe with any luck it'll really be "Rumbling Hearts - The Eternity You Desire", with the titles stacked on top of eachother. I'm just glad it's actually licensed, back in 2005 I thought it'd never be, and it would've been such a shame as it's my favorite series of all time.
