Surely you're joking? You're from the UK and you think the US does comedy better? Pah!
i agree with smellar. I love british comedy. there are VERY few times when I have thought american comedy was on par with british. Frasier, Arrested Development, Whose Line...those are a few of american shows on par with british ones like Fawlty Towers, Blackadder, AbFab, Fry and Laurie, anything by Rowan Atkinson, etc.
YouTube for all this stuff. I love YouTube.
