WORST....SHOW....EV ER

Man, are a lot of people happy to see that this snoozefest was yanked. I'm one of those people!! The acting was terrible, and the writing was horrendous. I mean, you can't just pop off a bunch of over-used buzz phrases and one-liners and expect to succeed ("what happens here stays here"......"vegas, baby!"........come on!!!!)
So yes, the scripts were bad. The supporting cast was laughable. I really liked Rob Lowe in "Wayne's World", "Tommy Boy", "Illegially yours", and "Class" .....but this drek was pretty bad. It's better off not polluting the airwaves. The Vegas glitz and backdrop could not save this train wreck.

Julie, did I ever tell you about my Uncle Henry Kotter?

Let me tell you something Kotter, when the presidential debates started Dr.Vegas was preemted because of them for the next three weeks. If that had not happened you would have seen three very good episodes guest starring Chazz Palminteri. You add him to Lowe and Joey pants along with Sarah Lancaster you have a great cast with some very exciting plots. I wish you could have seen what I saw.

well said, the show was great with a fantastic cast

Still, that doesn't save the fact that the acting was terrible, and the writing was horrendous. A bunch of over-used buzz phrases and one-liners and expect to succeed ("what happens here stays here"......"vegas, baby!"........come on!!!!)
And yes, the scripts were bad. Also, the situations they came up with were totally recycled from CSI, Murder She Wrote, and even Father Dowling.

well i dont think the acting was that bad, as for the plagerism most programs have some degree of that because nowadays most storylines have been covered in at least one of the many shows in the past or present.

reply

...which is part of the problem and a direct reason why some shows might not last because of all this overlapping of storylines. RIP, Dr. Vegas. Actually, don't RIP. RIT (turmoil).
