I mean, it's hardly the only inconsistency in the show so far, but this one I find particularly hard to believe.
Seriously, she didn't mind being crippled for the rest of her life as long as her sister's killer was arrested? 🙄 I mean, she literally said that the moment her sister died the world became a better place.
I am just watching the show now, so please no spoilers beyond season 2.
Yeah but didn't she also say something like "But still, she was my sister." I think that explains it.

Plenty of people are estranged from their siblings altogether.
Fair, but I still think it makes sense. Blood binds and all that. Kind of like how you and your sibling might bicker and have problems, but if an outside tries to give them grief, no. That's MY sibling and *I* will be the only one to torment them.
