reddit is cancer. this show was everything when it aired. the reason it's not talked about so much is that it ended nine years ago.

Friends has been off the air since 2004 (which is 17 years ago now) and yet, it's still talked about a lot. So I don't buy your rationale.

I think Aniston is a big reason for why people talk about Friends so much.

Well, also, I would think the show had a more universal appeal. It's not "for women", it's not a soap opera, etc.

It faded fast. I think it went on a little too long. The final seasons were nuts.
