this is what I wrote, its not the greatest............
I am a little upset with the fact that Clubhouse doesn’t have good ratings and got moved to Saturday’s. I think that Tuesday’s are better days for family shows because Saturday’s people go out at night. I’m also upset about the fact that this show wasn’t even shown the second week it was supposed to air but the presidential election was shown instead, and now it’s doing even poorer because of the World Series. This is not a good promotion since the show has just come out. I think maybe there should be more commercials or more advertising just so we can get more viewers. I don’t understand how other shows on CBS can have good ratings, when Clubhouse should. This show is just as good as the others. I have read other complaints roaming the internet just as what I am saying. And now, not to mention, petitions are starting to go around because people think this show is going to be cancelled, which is so sad. I just think there is too much going on right now, but I don’t understand why NCIS took place of Clubhouse this past Tuesday, October 26, 2004. That’s not good either. A lot of people I ask say they watch CBS a lot but have never heard of Clubhouse. I think there should be more promotion. Maybe such as magazines, newspapers, or even billboards, whatever to bring up the ratings! This show can not be cancelled!

that is a good idea...that is not fair...just because it depicts real life situation and people, does that mean that it will be cancelled...??? what kind of message does that send to people of the US???
i mean really...are people that scared of seeing real situations of tv...are they that sick of it to watch it on tv???

Well I go out on Tuesday nights...I'm actually up to the idea that it's moving to Saturdays. I have rehearsal every single night for a play I'm in up until December and I've only seen about 2 episodes. So I don't care when it plays just as long as I get to see it.

Great letter. I just hope that the people on CBS will listen to what it says so that Clubhouse can stay on, and stop changing day and time all the time. It's so ennoying.

In CBS' defense..."The presidential election was shown instead, and now it’s doing even poorer because of the World Series"...1) What else did you expect? Of course the elections would take it over. It took over every channel, short of the movie channels and PPV. It's the elections, the decider for who will run our country for the next four years. No show can compete with that, not even West Wing. 2)The World Series also would just roll over Clubhouse on account of the fact that Clubhouse is a crumb in comparison to the size of the World Series. Also, Clubhouse is a latent promoter of the Series. The fan population of the two holds a staggering difference.
Perhaps if Clubhouse were aired mid-February or March than it would have a bit more decent shot at climbing in ratings. Personally, I wish USA Network kept Walker, Texas Ranger on, but they didnt. Oh well...I found that ABC FAMILY is now hosting the show at the same time that USA did. So, its all good!
Great letter, Ashley! I agree, CBS needs to lift the switch higher on the promotional level. I think they've done a poor job promoting Clubhouse in comparison to other shows. I mean, I've seen tons of billboards for ABC's "Lost" and "Desperate Housewives" but for Clubhouse, nothing, except for one ad in US Weekly magazine.

thanks guys! I hope CBS seriously takes it into concideration. But, I forgot that American Idol airs on Tuesdays, too. and they would loose viewers with that show, too. But isn't that show on at 8pm??? well, jw.

Here is a little something that might help you, Clubhouse is on the HDNET, as in (High Defention Net work Channel), thats if you have a dish for satalight tv HD Tv... So there you go, you can still watch the show. It's not completely gone. Well now ya know its not off the air yet. But most of them are repeats if you need to tape them... peace out SJ
