This is almost as bad as when they renamed Conor McLeod as "John".

Your post makes no sense. Sil (the correct spelling) and Eve are two different characters.

Plus, Sil was just her nickname derived from S1L - the code number for the experiment.

Sil, is the main specie in number 1, and in number 2 Eve is still technically Sil, but cloned, i guess that ginger woman just gave her a new name, so she wouldn't remember or have any flashbacks of her 'old self'
